Beginning their journey in 2016, the couple have already been picked up by drum 'n bass heavyweights, Hospital Recordings, and its' sister label, Med School. Now on Blu Saphir Recordings, prepare to dance and get electrified.

Milkyway's debut EP on Blu Saphir is a fantastic one! The Future is Here ignites the speakers first with wavy-feeling piano chords to put the listener into meditative state. The air rises in the background, as the build-up becomes. The drop is a minimal feel-good dance. Pianos, subtle drums, and jazzy synth stabs fill the air. As expected with many of the liquid vibe, the tune seems to relentlessly build, soon introducing chopped up elements before the drop consisting of a piano and flowing MIDI winds. It's just a matter of time before the main section spins round again.

Mint keeps the air fresh, and this number is no different. Melody trots atop forward-driven drums. A male vocal drops to add atmosphere, while filtered drums drive to the floor alongside a second layer of pitched up, chopped vocals. Joy is exuded from the vibrant keys echoed throughout the track.

An EP wouldn't be complete without Unicorns and Rainbows. Chilled out and meant for the “head nod”, charming pads lead back into that electro synth backdrop, as a half-time feel invites all comers. Soonafter though, the tempo picks up while still maintaining that Massive Attack style programming. Pitched up vocals seem to be a “thing” at this point. Switching up with different sounds, including flutes, water drops, and switched-up drums, Unicorns and Rainbows is one for the deejays.
