ANGER UPDATE! EUROPEAN TOURS, ARTIST NEWS, INTERVIEWS, MIXES!!

Happy bleeding hearts day to you all! In keeping with the Valentine's spirit, here is some new additions, tours, dates available, cool links, podcasts, Therapy info and all sorts of tasty bits and bobs for sie dunkel dnb hunger... :P (I'm still trying...)

I have also just been informed that TECHNICAL ITCH will be back in Europe from middle to end of February for bookings. I will do another mail out with more info on that as soon as I know more!

If anyone is in the UK March 11th, Therapy Session's is back home in East London at The Rhythm Factory with Dylan, Limewax, Audio, The Sect, Kitech, Robyn Chaos (meee) and Second Room hosted by Scientific Wax!! So excited to be back home..will definitely be an insaaaane night with already tickets selling like evil hotcakes!!!

NEW ADDITIONS!!

GANCHER & RUIN: (Freak, PRSPCT, Yellow Stripe, Subdivision, Melting Pot, Assimilate Rec, Future Sickness)

Identical Russian twins, Gancher & Ruin were infected by the electronic music virus in late 2003 aged only 10!! By 2006, they had started producing their own music, heavily influenced by the likes of the Darker/harder dnb masters; Technical Itch, Dylan, The Panacea, Evol intent, Cooh, and Audio. Now 4 years later, the Gruesome Twosome have honed their own style to encompass all the styles they love, hard drums, ravey/hardcore stabs and edits, all with an overtly evil edge!
Though they started djing at parties at the tender age of 16, in 2010 Gancher and Ruin began to sweep across Europe, playing back to back at parties from Estonia to Portugal. With a multitude of nasty releases in the works and collaborations with everyone from Cooh to Current Value, these Toxic Twins are set to ignite dancefloors in 2011 (personally witnessed @ Therapy Portugal where people literally staged dove and lost their shirts...a guy actually had his shirt ripped off...I blame the boys for firing everyone up

KANTYZE: (Freak / Obscene / Fokuz / IM:LTD / m-Atome / TRIM / Shadybrain / Basswerk / Mindtech )

New to the Anger Roster and hailing from Paris, we are very happy to bring Kantyze into the fold! Born from a team-up of 2 inspired lads from the French junglist sphere (Feubo & Knockoutz ), Kantyze redefines with class the french dnb sound. After a remix for la Phaze and a couple of 12" released on various french imprints such as Drumforce or Secret Vinyl, Kantyze first self-titled Lp got released in July 2005 on their homegrown imprint m-Atome Recordings. A 12 track mixed cd engineered by Kantyze & fellow mate Chakal 900, somewhere between futuristic sounds and groove madness, it features a collaboration with Gelstat, the "Scorpio" remix by Kaos, Karl K & Jae K, and another one of the track "Break it down" by Paris's finest Sweed & Rainmaker. In 2006, Feubo & Knockoutz decided to take a break from drum n' bass production,and decided to dedicate their spare time to m-Atome recordings management and also created a free electronica side-project called "Emergency broadcast System" with their hometown fellow music mates Supercilious & Stupid dog.
Once the EBS album completed,the duo went back to their beloved dnb genre with fresh ideas, a fast-growing reputation for their home m-Atome and eventually started to work on new tracks and also some collaborations with Pyro, Rico, Morebeat, Thought, Amex, Allied & Cortex. Tracks such as "Psychopit" (a personal fave), "Vega", and "Trust & Blood", from our camps alone, established these guys as a force to be reckoned with as Agent Provocateurs of dark, deep techy punchy, catchy tracks, all with a level of elegance that can only be the French way of doing things...

Kantyze are currently signed on such labels as Freak, Obscene, Influenza LTD, Fokuz, Trust in Music, Melting Pot as well as the obvious homebrew label m-Atome & its varied sub-labels, receiving worldwide support from the most cutting edge and established DJ's such as Dylan, State of Mind, Bulletproof, Chris SU, The Panacea, SPL, Masheen, The Upbeats, The Sect, and Raiden to name a few!

2011 sees the guys very busy preparing le grand beats avec their third Lp for m-Atome recordings, a collaboration with some of the finest names on the scene, as well as releases lined up on other prominent labels in DnB.

Appropriate that his new release on Freak MP3, out now, is entitled "Out of the Cage" as Mr Freak himself has been fed a piece of raw meat and is ready to be one again unleashed upon Europe starting in December, now that he is barely legal in the US of A, where he is now based! Alongside this sampler of fresh, cream of the crop, new talent from around the world, Dylan has also been working hard on a new album for Freak alongside Kitech, and working with US producers and even, yes, some rappers (good rappers, needless to say) on what I can only call some futuristic Wu Tang bizznizz (yes...). You can check out the album and a studio mix of his below, and dates are still available for March, as well as it being possible to bleed into the months surrounding if need be!!

Fresh from causing all sorts of mayhem around Europe, Australia, and New Zealand (alongside her new comedy tag team member The Panacea...you watch...one day we'll have a stand up show...), "Trouble" Chaos has also been back in the studio alongside The Panacea on some new Faith in Chaos tracks, working alongside Dylan and Kitech on some dirty, angry bits for their upcoming album, and in between touring every other month, running the Anger Management stable of Death Stags full time and Therapy Sessions worldwide, which is ever expanding (now in Latin America too)!! So much bass, so little time...

It's been seven years since The Panacea's last studio album "Underground Superstardom" but finally the wait is over with the release of his 6th LP entitled "Chiropteran"! It is as groundbreaking as his previous imprints, with complex song structures and musical variability bringing fans and listeners alike a fresh perspective into the otherwordly dimensions of the teutonic mastermind. Including collaborations with artists such as Donny, Lethal, Limewax and Dead Rodell, this 2 year project shows to be yet another masterful and well thought out LP, a colourful journey though musical symbiosis, paying homage to heritage of early 90's rave music! Counterstrike's remix of "Driving Insane" has just been released on Black Sun Empire's latest album 'Lights and Wires'. They have also just completed two great collaborations with The Panacea, forthcoming on Position Chrome called "Zeff Bass" and "The Minotaur". Watch out for the continuation of the Counterstrike - Collaboration series on Counterstrike Recs, featuring artists such as Receptor, Dean Rodell and Current Value. Also in the pipeline on Algorythm Recs is a Counterstrike VIP EP, featuring four Counterstrike classics done up VIP style!!
The boys recently released their first various artist album on Algorythm Recs called Scatter featuring SPL, Current Value, Donny, Receptor, Counterstrike and many more, going out of their way to gather the best of Hard Drum & Bass in countries as far as Germany, South Africa, Czech Republic, Russia, USA, Romania, Spain & The UK. KATHARSYS
Brand new to the Anger Family!! Katharsys began in 2001 when Hugo, a pianist, and Tom, a sound technician, start producing their first drum'n'bass tracks, inspired by the dark grooves and demented beats of artists such as Tech Itch, Dylan, Kemal, Konflict, Photek and Ice Minus to name just a few. After countless hours of waveshaping and savage beat processing, the duo were ready to begin releasing in 2004. Katharsys, from the ancient greek word "catharsys" meaning the emotional cleansing of the audience in relation to drama, is an extreme change in emotion. The main focus of the duo is to create intense sounds which evoked that kind of extreme changes, into electronic music. Producing from darkstep to neurofunk hard drum&bass, Katharysys has reached different labels, such as Habit (US),Guerilla (US), Barcode (UK), Sinuous (UK), and Obscene (UK), and have progressed to playing their hard as balls sets out to fans around Europe.
Katharsys's tunes appear on many dj mixes from Counterstrike, Donny, Dylan, Cooh, Evol Intent, Audio, Dj Hidden, Nanotek, Dean Rodell and Forbidden Society.

COOH / BALKANSKY
Cooh has had appearances in many parts of the world. So far he has played in England, Australia, Russia, France, Denmark,Swiss,Slovakia,Belgium, Spain, Portugal, Slovenia, Poland, Germany,Holland,Czech Republic, Austria,Serbia, Kazakhstan and Romania, and is booked for performing in many more countries.He has a special knowledge of how to make the crowds go crazy and loves to share his own emotions with the people on the dance floor.
In the meantime Ivan has also been working in the field of Dubstep, IDM and downtempo, and last but not least, jazz music, under another alias - Balkansky. He has played at some of the biggest jazz festivals in Bulgaria with one the best Bulgarian ethno-jazz musicans - Theodosii Spassov under the Balkansky live project. Also doing deep house and minimal as Drum Kid, he started releasing on some labels as Italo Bussiness and Standart Audio.
Parallel with making music , Cooh is also active in the sphere of fine arts, studying and drawing graphic prints and has created a remarkable collection of works and already had few exhibitions in Germany and Bulgaria.
