Mit The Flush schleicht sich ein echtes Melody-Monster von hinten mit einer simplen wie genialen Hookline an. Straighte, treibende Beats und groovende Basslines dazu - und das gemeine Biest zeigt Zähne. Mitte der 90er-Jahre startete Glans Forehead mit dem Amiga 500 und ein paar Sample-Disketten mit Drumloops. Ursprünglich vom Hip Hop kommend, ließ er sich von Künstlern wie Shy Fx und M-Beat inspirieren und kreierte erste Jungletunes. Mit der Zeit verfeinerte er seine Skills in diesem Bereich, ging aber auch weiterhin als MC seiner Hip Hop-Leidenschaft nach und spielte Schlagzeug in diversen Ska- und Psychobilly Bands. Seit 2003 fokussiert sich Glans auf Drum & Bass.
Glans Forehead lässt sich nicht in eine Schublade stecken. Seinen Style kennzeichnen melodiöse, druckvolle Synthlines mit sauber durchprogrammierten, rollenden Beats. Ob Liquid oder härtere Gangarten.

It was way back in the jungle days when Glan got hooked on Drum and Bass – and the beats in Nostalgic Breaks are heavily inspired by those good old times. Wild and rhythmic drums and rolling amens meet fierce reece-lines and combined with dark subbasses make this a killer dancefloor tune. The Flush is a melody monster sneaking up from behind with a simplistic and yet brilliant hookline. Straight pumping beats and groovy basslines make this little beast show it's teeth after all. Glan's life as a musician started sometime in the 90's with a Commodore Amiga and a couple of drumloops on floppy disks. With his roots originally in the hip hop scene, he later got inspired by ShyFX and M-Beat. Glan created his first jungle tunes. As time passed by he refined his skills and gear, but also continued pursuing the hip hop way as an MC. He also played the drums in a couple of Ska- and Psychobilly bands. Since 2003 he focuses on Drum and Bass.
