Bristol-based Owen Brown aka Clarity has rapidly become one of the names to watch in the current Drum and Bass scene. Having stumbled upon drum n bass music at the age of 14, within two years Clarity managed to write music that was immediately supported by top names like dBridge, Doc Scott, Loxy, Jubei, Skeptical and Grooverider. Inevitable signings to respected labels followed swiftly with imprints such as Med School, Samurai Music, Cylon, Horizons, and dBridges' mighty Exit Records label stepping up to launch the Clarity name and sound proudly to the world.

Stripping the core elements of Drum and Bass down to a refined, unique groove, his style has become unmistakable and at the forefront of the progression of Drum and Bass music. The Clarity sound is fortified with a structure that binds itself firmly to Techno and propels what you know as Drum and Bass into an entirely different realm with each sound carrying its ultimate weight as a result of this minimal, but very potent delivery.

As a DJ, Clarity represents this new strain of Drum and Bass with razor sharp mixing skills and impeccable selection, with bookings regularly across the UK and Europe for names like Renegade Hardware, Cylon, & Samurai Music.

2013 looks set to be the year Clarity's name and sound grows even further with releases planned for Loxy's Cylon Recordings, Critical Modulations, and Samurai Horo, while work is underway for his full length debut artist album for Samurai Music.

Internet, radio, and nightclub DJ, event promoter, distributor, record label owner and artist mentor, Geoff Wright aka Presha's list of accomplishments and roles within the music industry are immense. Even more impressive is that he has been a forerunner in each of these disciplines, firmly entrenching himself within the sonic architecture of electronic music culture worldwide.

Through his Samurai Music, Red Seal & Horo record labels, his many radio shows over the years, club sets, & events promotion companies, Presha served as a guiding hand in the growth and development of the New Zealand scene and assisted heavily in establishing the International export of artists such as Tokyo Prose, Fis, State of Mind, Trei, and Dose amongst others.

2011 saw an indefinite relocation to Europe, a move essential to the expansion and longevity of both the Samurai Music labels and his devotion to the art of DJ'ing. From his adopted home in Berlin, Presha made 2012 -2015 the busiest years to date for the Samurai Music group of labels with high profile releases from the artist stable including Calibre, Marcus Intalex, Dub Phizix & Skeptical, Loxy & Resound, ENA, ASC, Tokyo Prose, Clarity and many more.

Ex-thrash metal vocalist, old-school skateboarding aficionado, Japanese art enthusiast and lifelong cross- genre music lover, Presha has DJ'ed extensively across New Zealand, Australia, Europe, Japan and America. A seasoned selector with 2 decades behind the decks, Presha brings a wealth of maturity and experience to his selections with every set, ultimately reflecting the highs and lows of a life lived on the front-lines of music.
