20.05.: Blended Bandits XL @ Heidegger / Rotterdam

Friday the 20th of may Blended Bandits celebrates its one year anniversary. During the last year this night has established itself in Rotterdam, always bringing you that funked' up drum & bass and deeper dubstep, with help of various local, national and international dj's and producers.

For this edition we decided to go all out with a very special line-up:







CLUEKID
[Subsonik / Bullfrog] UK

A Londen based producer, best known for integrating old skool jungle influences through his dubstep. He has been a prominent and well respected producer on the dubstep scene for some years now, collaborated with the likes of Skream and Cotti and runs his own label Bullfrog Records.


MENSAH
[H.E.N.C.H / Deep Medi Musik] UK

An experienced dj who has been on the decks since the age of 13 with a wide variety and diversity to his sound. His productions have received support from some of the worlds leading dubstep dj's and there is no sign of letting up either with various releases forthcoming plus a collaboration with Foreign Beggars.


LENZMAN & RIYA
[Metalheadz / C.I.A.] NL, UK

Over the last year Lenzman has established himself as one of the most exciting new producers in the international drum & bass scene. Teaming up with Londen based singer/songwriter Riya brought forward some amazing music like 'Open Page', a track massively well received by both DJs and in the press.


PAUL SG
[Goodlooking / Jazzsticks] AU

Vienna based Paul SG has been releasing quality jazz-inflected dancefloor rollers since 2008 quickly catching the ears of some of the biggest international drum and bass dj's, not least a certain LTJ Bukem. Besides djing all over Europe - his first time in Holland though - he spends a lot of time in the studio and promoting his own drum & bass label 'Jazzsticks Recordings'.


CRISPY
[Blendits] NL

Blended Bandits resident drum & bass dj. Influenced by the vibes of St. Germain and J Dilla his sets contain elements of funk, jazz and soul, sometimes with a techy feel to it. He values harmonic mixing and knows how to create a right atmosphere for the night.


DUBBCHEV & INFECTED NEEDLE
[Blendits / Hiphophuis] NL

Besides producing and mc'ing, Dubbchev has a big interest for turntableism. For this edition he decided to team up with his scratch buddy Infected Needle from Hiphophuis Rotterdam. Expect a wide variety of funk breaks and quality hip hop.


MC DAN STEZO
[Sized / Gwaan] NL

One of Hollands most versatile mc's. He knows his way with hip hop, house, uk garage and dubstep but will always have special thing for drum & bass. Besides mc'ing alongside Lenzman for a long time he has shared the stage with jocks and producers like Goldie, Grooverider and Calibre, not even to mention the non d&b and dubstep acts.
