Firstly there is the new sound system, which is a totally new Funktion 1 system, custom designed for the Coronet and featuring their latest generation of cabinets – the Coronet is the first venue in the country to have these installed.

Secondly the main bar : In response to feedback from clubbers who have attended events here over the last few months we have spent £ 100,000 on a complete re-design of the main bar area. Our customers said they wanted more places to sit and enjoy a drink in the main arena. They also said they wanted to get served quicker at the bar and have a better view of the main stage. We have removed the main bar in response to this, and installed a new bar at the back of the main arena, which is twice the size of the old bar. This has also created much more space in the bar area, allowing us to create a large lounge are in front of the bar.
