Yet another world-renowned mc who’s seen his rise and progression take off since moving to Philadelphia. Illy Emcee, considered, one of the hardest working people in the industry, pushes the envelope when it comes to life as an mc in drum and bass.

Hailing originally from the streets of Baltimore, Illy has developed a unique style of lyricism and artist. His hip background allows him to explore a variety of approaches and options when on the drum and bass stage.

Not only is he a proven performer but also Illy Emcee has developed his production skills with his mates at Brigade with releases on Formation, Zeropoint, BSE, Phylum and more.

Illy stays true to his roots with his debut hip hop release, “Living in the Moment” which features production from Dstar, J Smooth, Dennis P Coltrane and Illy Emcee himself as well as guest appearances by J Messinian.
