DJ GARON - PROFILE

A mainstay of the Stuck On Earth crew (NY) Garon started out at New York raves and the Reeespect weeklies @wetlands, and has grown to include various international performances including a headlining performance during Ecosystem 3(www.ecosystem3.org) with Datcyde, in Manaus, Brazil.

Since then Garon has played alongside the biggest names in drum and bass such as, DJ Rap, Bad Company, Dieselboy, Trace, Tech Itch, John-B, J-Majik, Virus Crew, Moving Shadow Crew, Digital and others... all over the USA, every major SOE event as well as numerous raves and NY weeklies of every caliber, including Direct Drive, Koncrete Jungle, Testpress, Camoflauge, and Recess.

As of late Garon has made more progress on the production side of d+b. After his first release on Taciturn Records(social skills rmx), many other djs lent their support. December of 2003 wil mark Garon's first international release hailing from the UK Label Sonix (run by Aquasky), and a follow up single is slated for early 2004. September marks the release of fellow NY DJ Reid Speed's second CD on Breakbeat Science entitled "Life After Dark". It features aonther production piece slated for release on Monkey Bizness Recordings(Arqer and Realtime's label).

Some DJs currently playin Garon's dubs include Aquasky, Craze, Concord Dawn, Freakyflow, Dara... and others. Keep an eye out for this kid, plenty of good things to come...
